What is sustainability and why?

Sustainability is being concerned with the well-being of future generations. From the UN World Commission on Environment and Development: “sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Resources and the environment are not inexhaustible. Sustainability has never been more important for the development of the future generations.

What is a recyclable material?

A recycled material is made of waste products or by-products that has been processed into a new product or incorporated into a manufacturing process.

What is a renewable material?

A renewable material is made of natural resources and has the capability to be naturally and organically replaced in a set time period.

Renewable and Recyclable resources in asphalt

Asphalt is the most sustainable and environmentally friendly material for road construction and roof-building. For the production of asphalt, sustainability can be achieved through the use of recycled materials like reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), which can reduce the consumption of energy needed to use new materials. Additionally, we can use renewable resources rather than petroleum-based (nonrenewable) resources.

Recycled/Renewable materials include:

  • Recycled asphalt shingles (RAS)
  • Reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP)
  • Recycled plastics
  • Recycled concrete aggregate
  • Recycled ground rubber tires (GTR)
  • Vegetable Oil

Everything we do is driven by research.

We are an asphalt technology company that continuously works to develop a wide range of asphalt-related solutions. We are dedicated to developing innovative, environmentally friendly solutions.

Our company’s focus is to provide the responsible usage of recycled and renewable resources for all asphalt applications.

What we do : Saving resources. Think renew.

We offer solutions that have an increasing use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), recycled asphalt shingles (RAS) and other recycled materials to reduce the need for nonrenewable virgin materials. We take a sustainable approach where performance is not compromised.
